Twin Work & Volunteer

Paid 600£ to go to the UK for a working experience in line with my studies. During the interview, I was told I would have been placed in the administration office. On the first day at work, I was given a mop, "you can start from that room". They made me clean toilets all day. I just left. No customer service whatsoever. A SCAM.

They failed to provide me with a host family for my trip, and when it was cancelled over two months ago still have not provided me with the promised refund despite ringing multiple times

I was part of the group that Twin Work and Volunteer sent to Barcelona in May 2014 on the Leonardo Di Vinci programme. The programme provided me with a fantastic opportunity to live and work in Spain in order to gain fantastic work experience and improve my Spanish which is something I have wanted to do for a number of years but during an economical crisis where more than 25% of people in Spain are without work, I may never have had the opportunity to do so without the program. I went on a volunteer experience to Port Elizabeth in South Africa, and it was absolutely amazing. All of the people on the game reserve were really friendly and helpful, and my travel advisor James explained everything really well so I wasn’t worried about travelling to the other side of the world. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone. I just wish I took more pictures!
