My wife and I had just taken up outdoor bowling 2 years back, but were not too excited about the club when we were invited to try out indoor bowls at Turpins. Wow! what a lovely crowd of friendly ,helpful people who went out of their way to make us welcome and teach us the basics of the game. It has really given us anew lease on life.
