Understandably they are still learning and are cheaper than other specialists however there should still be a level of skill and their work should be monitored after each cut. I don't really know where to start. My appointment at Tuckwell was not just an appointment, but it was an experience. Simon is just the top, I can't recommend him enough. He welcomed me and put me at ease since the first moment as I was about to make a big change. He infuses a sense of security and extreme professionality that are very important. The salon has an incredible vibe. Extra points for the free coffee and for the amazing "mystery shampoo room" where you will feel extremely relaxed....

Literally amazing. Sophie is so professional, friendly and talented. My hair looks great and she did it so effortlessly. Took my 3 month old son with me and she was so helpful and considerate. All of the staff are just so sweet. Lovely atmosphere and great value for money.

It was my first time getting a haircut here. I was very hesitant at first because I have really long hair and I had decided to chop it all off, but my hairstylist Izzy did such an amazing job! The second I was in she was very friendly, asked me how I wanted it cut and advised me wherever I wasn’t too sure. Amazing experience! Sarah really knows her stuff and made me feel so comfortable & at ease. She's helped rectify a bad stylists cut and explained my hair to me so well and what style and cuts work best! Shampoo and condition massage was soooo relaxing, the backwash room was sooooo calming! Would so recommend! Be back in 6 weeks for my trim & I cannot wait!
