Trotters Riding School & Livery Yard

Went along to watch my friends daughter have her 1st lesson. Everyone was friendly , the ponies were lovely and great instruction. Highly recommend

Trotters are amazing - my daughter has just spent the last 3 weeks doing 2 hour ride outs on a Wednesday and intermediate pony days on a Thursday, she even got to take part in her first dressage competition (next year she’s hoping to do the showjumping too). My daughter has been taught by Sally for more than 5 years and keeps her pony at Trotters. Sally is an excellent, encouraging, patient instructor who genuinely wants every rider to have the best possible experience. Always professional and friendly, she's created a yard with such a positive supportive environment with well cared for ponies. My daughter absolutely loves it there and I can't recommend highly enough.

This is a brilliant riding school, perfect for beginners who want to be taught to ride properly from the start. Ponies are all well schooled with lovely temperaments and Sally ensures each child gets 1-to-1 attention. It’s good value and lessons can be either in the school, out on local hacks or the beach. If you are looking for a safe pair of hands and a great experience, this is the riding school to choose.
