I started with James in September '23. I see him once a week for a session. He gives great advice, is patient, careful not to work you too hard but ensure you keep progressing at a fast rate. As a result my fitness and strength has improved a lot and I can really see and feel the difference in just a few months. The sessions are a mix of weight training and cardio but are very tailored to what the individual wants to achieve. We also have a bit of laugh which always makes things easier!

I started with James just after moving down to Hove in May 2022. I've been very impressed with his set up, approach and more importantly the transformation he is guiding. For years I've struggled to lose weight, tone up and build muscle always thinking it was just me. James taught me a lot about food, approach to exercise and I love seeing him twice a week. Highly recommended personal trainer with his own mini-gym. James is a knowledgeable, patient and fun guide to getting yourself back into shape. If you want to move more freely, be stronger and reverse the cumulative effects of decades of being a desk jockey James can sort you out.

Working with James for last 5 months. Lost just over 2 stone. See him twice per week. Yes, it’s demanding but as it says on the gym wall “it’s being hard that makes it great”. Plenty of variation in our work and James makes it fun too. We do work with weights despite me thinking it would be all cardio as my goal was purely weight loss. I can see muscle building and fat disappearing. Can’t recommend James highly enough.

I’ve been training with James for about 4 months. I’m 60 and ballooned during Lockdown. I used to go to a gym but dropped off two years ago. James gave me advice on eating, trains me for an hour a week and gave me a routine to do at the gym. This has worked well for me.
