This Ambulance and Emergency Care Assistant course is designed for paramedics or anyone who is interested in helping people by knowing how to respond well to a medical emergency.
In terms of emergency care, you will learn the basic first aid techniques like the Do's & Don'ts, dressing, bandaging, CPR and how to use AED. You will also learn paediatric first aid, how to deal with people with injuries, illness, breathing problems, fractures and dislocations. As CPR and AED is important we have a separate course that will go in-depth on introducing you to both CPR & AED and how they are done. Moreover, our course on manual handling hazards and injuries will ensure you know all the different types of injuries, common disorders and how to prevent both of them.
We also have included a unique course that focuses on fire, the importance of fire and how to deal with fire. This course will make sure you are more diverse than the other paramedics. Finally, for ambulance emergencies, we have a course that will teach you the basics of ambulance care like the roles, responsibilities and standards that have to be met. You will also learn about ambulance maintenance which will include climate control, oxygen system, onboard suction system, volt system and medical equipment.
