Great sociable club with plenty of matchplay tennis opportunities. Unquestionably the best tennis club bar in Hertfordshire.

A welcoming, sociable and friendly club - well equipped and well worth the membership fee. There are plenty of opportunities for both social and competitive tennis and a very good coaching provision. I have been a member at Townsend for over 20 years and would like to still be involved with the club in another 20 years. Highly recommend to anyone who loves tennis.

Great Sports club. Home of one of the oldest and friendliest Bowls and Tennis clubs in Hertfordshire. The excellent facilities include an attractive large modern clubhouse with a relaxing bar area providing well kept real ales.
