Torrance House Golf Club

Like a lot of west coast courses suffering from heavy rain.On a summers day its pleasant test.

Great venue to dj in and staff were fantastic from my arrival to my departure at the end off the night so massive thank you to the lady's on the bar and the gentleman that helped me out on my arrival folks

Probably the best municipal golf club around. A good challenge but the course has suffered from lack of investment over the years. Tees are decent as are the greens. Greens are a bit on the slow side. Bunkers are the worst part of the setup as they are poorly maintained. 18th par three is a beautiful finishing hole with Torrance House behind the green. Clubhouse is welcoming and reasonably priced.

Winter tee's reduce the length of the course considerably, and EK winter tough on Torrance greens as usual. 16 greens on which was good after light frost last night.

It's a really good challenging course although not being maintained properly. For the price they charge it should be maintained a lot better. Some greens are poor and bunkers look like they haven't been touched in months. Shame really.
