Tom connects with his students, grasps the level they are at and works very hard for them to improve and learn. During every lesson, he emails what has been covered and sends examples of how to play. I’ve been having bass and guitar lessons with Tom for around 18 months. I started as a complete beginner on stringed instruments and am really pleased with the progress I have made. Tom’s teaching style is relaxed and he’s happy to accommodate any pieces or ideas I want to develop. The lessons are structured so that the underlying theory is incorporated into the themes we are working on and therefore it doesn’t feel like a chore. Highly recommended!
