Tim Coleman Drum Tuition

I’ve been playing drums for over 45 years and played in local bands in my younger days. I wanted to learn Steve Gadd’s famous solo from the Steely Dan track Aja but knew it was beyond my limited technique. After a year with Tim, he got me to a point where I could make a fair attempt and has also helped me develop my weaker hand, another of my personal goals. My 11 year old son has been receiving tuition from Tim for around 18 months now. Tim is harnessing my son’s potential very well indeed, and substantial progress is being made. Tim has an easy going and relaxed attitude when teaching, bringing the student along at a good pace without ever seeming to bring any pressure. Brilliant stuff - thoroughly recommend Tim to anyone either looking to learn from scratch or just wanting to hone their skills. A pleasure to learn from.

Tim is a fantastic drum teacher. My son Noah started having lessons with Tim at primary school for many years and since covid has been having video tuition which works brilliantly. Tim has really inspired my son. He looks forward to his weekly lessons. We highly recommend Tim.
