Thompsons School Of Motoring

I would recommend Thompson’s School of motoring. I had great help from Tony during my manual driving lessons, including driving round the test routes at Wickham and this prepared me well for my driving test.

If you are doing automatic lessons, I strongly urge you to not take Peter. He refuses to take you to the test area even if your test is very soon. He’s very rude and argumentative and clearly only cares about the money. The lessons didn’t have a structure and he made no reference to my test. We did the same thing over and over and I would ask him when are we doing mock tests or going to my test area and he would argue. I found this driving school through a friends recommendation and I couldn't be happier. I was taught be George who was very kind and spent time helping me in my trouble areas which was really refreshing. Thanks to him I passed on my fist try and feel very confident behind the wheel. I will 100% be recommending them to anyone who wants to learn how to drive.

had a really good experience overall with this school. I used George and Tony and feel like I was lucky. I'm aware that the company let go of a couple of instructors that were unreliable and not a good fit for this longstanding South London Company. What a shame that its tainted them somewhat.
