I came for the first time with my friend who is not naturally a board game person but absolutely loved her time here. We initially planned to stay for 30 minutes ahead of the Jane Austen centre, however we decided to delay the tour next door so we could have more fun! Great cafe, very friendly and helpful staff who are very generous with their time to helping you learn new games. If we come back to bath we will come again. We bought a game to take home from their vast collection for sale

Amazing place to have a great board-game time. You can play a variety of games, and you also get help with game rules. Enjoy some nice lemon-orange cake with some hot choc! A hiddem gem in Bath city if you fancy some offline time.

I am such a fan of board game cafes and this one had a huge variety of games and plenty of space for people to settle in. Easy booking system and the staff seemed super knowledgeable if you needed any help at all with understanding anything. Only thing that dropped it to 4 stars was the timings and food on offer.. Found about ~20min between ordering and getting food/drinks (and we there 3-4hrs), which was fine as long as you kept ordering ahead of your demand haha. Sandwiches and sausage roll...
