The York Riding School

Having not ridden in 13 years I was quite nervous to start again, but now I wish I’d done it years ago ! My instructor was brilliant, talked me through everything and made me feel so at ease, and to be told it was like I’d never been away from riding was a dream come true to hear! Loved it from start to finish. Can’t wait for my next lesson 😁🐎

I was booked a lesson as a surprise. I had not ridden in years and the instructor was very kind and patient. It was such good fun to have a go at riding again, and my lovely horse Tess was a star. Would definitely recommend

Hi had my daughter birthday party on 16/09/18 and was a brilliant experience. I went for the gold package and was worried before it wouldn't be worth it or up to scratch. It was amazing there was 11 friends and a horse for every one. They set the room up with plates cups table cloth a got all the food and drink in package. They also do a brilliant lovely birthday cake in package and miles to much food dont take extra. Well worth the money. I was worried kids would get bored but really didnt n...

My daughter has been having group lessons here every week for just over a year now and has recently started having private lessons once a week alongside the group lessons. All the staff are friendly, helpful, positive and patient. Would definitely recommend for anybody from complete beginners, to those who are already confident and competent riders.
