Imho It's marmite course. Loved the complexity and trickery of it. Seve has done a grand job designing it, but I felt that it was too hard for the average golfer and more enjoyable for single digit golfers. Nevertheless a great round and probably would return but will make sure to bring more balls as I almost ran out this time.

Would definitely visit again. Steve and crew were friendly and more than accommodating, and the course was beautiful.

The greens are pristine - absolutely perfect. And each hole is unique. The Shire is definitely one of the most enjoyable courses I’ve played.

My most favourite player ever, one of my favourite courses designed to capture a full range of skills in true Seve style, risk and reward everywhere. Take to many risks and the course will surely win. 6 par 3's, 6 par 4's and 6 par 5's. We played in a handicap match, unsurprisingly the home team are unbeaten for 7 years. We lost hands down 4 - 0 fourball better all, what a great bunch of guys, well done Lloyd and Dave great company. The course is immaculate tee to green, the staff very attent...

What a course! Makes you play golf clever. Can’t use driver on every hole. Very undulating greens. Club house is very nice! Food was amazing. Genuine 5 star from me. Only thing that would have been awesome is if the driving range had a little more length to it. Great course
