The Search Surf School

If you are looking to book some surfing lessons then look further. My two sons had never tried surfing before, and both had a great time. From the beach I observed the other surfing lessons going on at the same time and Mike’s coaching was simply leagues in front of the others. Mike is a true professional, surfer and coach.

What a week! My 10 yo son had never had surfing lessons before. After his first lesson with Mike, he couldn't stop talking about it. He was just so excited, looking forward to his next lesson, and he even asked me if Mike could teach him twice a day! We are very glad to have met Mike and for this wonderful experience. And, of course, when we are back to Cornwall, we will definitely take lessons with The Search again.Thank you so much!

Mike was an excellent instructor. It was my little brother’s first time surfing and he made him feel at ease and was very attentive. He also helped me with a lot of good constructive feedback and advice. Would highly recommend.

I wasn’t sure how Mike was going to cope with 2 beginners of differing ages at once, one 46 the other 8! But he did, he made it fun, very friendly and clear explanations, was amazingly patient (especially with daddy!!) and we loved every minute of it. Looks like we will be arranging our holiday next year in Cornwall just to make sure we can surf again! Thanks Mike 😃

We had a couple of great lessons learning how to get up and running on the surf boards, how to catch the waves and also a good initial safety briefing. Great fun and a fantastic introduction to surfing.
