Paul is a very experienced running coach at Southampton Running School. I am preparing for long distance triathlon and was increasingly running distance but not speed. I went by chance to see Paul for an analysis session with no idea what to expect but hoping for some tips to improve my (amateur) running and possibly prevent me getting little injuries. I felt confident after just 30 minutes that he had the knowledge and skill to help me make some serious changes to make running easier. Would highly recommend Paul at the running school. I visited initially to understand how I could run more efficiently, with the aim of avoiding injury when upping the mileage. Paul identified straight away some of the issues hindering my performance. I came to Paul with muscular problems after runs, he put me on the treadmill and was able to identify my issue. I paid for six sessions and he sorted me out. Eight weeks later I’m still pain free. I found him to be knowledgeable and friendly.

I can't recommend the Running School enough. I tried it first a few years ago while recovering from lower back and nerve problems caused by a bulging disc. I had been running competitively for about 20 years. Paul Bartlett managed to demonstrate very quickly problems with my running gait that was losing me considerable speed.
