Played in January, course conditions absolutely superb, very friendly welcome for us visitors, great breakfast and quite rightly the No.1 course in England. Absolute must. Oh, and a hole in one on the 16th absolutely topped off an amazing day!! ⛳️ 🏌️♂️

A wonderful place to visit and play golf, at the only venue in the south that hosts the Open Championship! Proshop, caddy/course guides and members all very friendly! Strict attire/dress code is enforced - Check carefully before you travel/arrive

Unbelievable golfing experience and rightly holds its place as best in the country. The course also in fantastic condition for December. Playing here is a real treat, each hole is special and the scenery is stunning. Worth playing twice as you will need to enjoy this incredible course for all that it had to offer.

Greens cored 3 weeks ago. Course amazing The club is still very old school, in some ways good and in some ways bad. Feels like a club that needs to move a little bit with the times.

As a spectator on the final day of the open, I can only comment on the day itself which was incredible. Being lucky to have a seat on the 18th was a fantastic end to the day. Course looked in great condition. Hopefully I’ll be able to play one day.
