I started Rock Project earlier this year having been a “bedroom” guitarist for many years but had never played with anyone else at all until the Rock Project. Prior to joining the Rock Project 2 years ago being a novice I didn’t have the confidence to play with other people so was put off going to open mic nights held in public venues. Rock Project which has given me the opportunity to meet similar beginners, many friendly approachable people, and taught and given me the confidence to practice in a band scenario taking me to a new level. Really can`t recommend highly enough, from the very talented instructors to a great bunch of fellow students it really is a wonderful experience. Really enjoyable learning the songs at the beginning of the session but then great to play as a band at the end of the session each week. Really enjoyable end of term gigs which are really well organised and at some great venues.

The course organisers Liesa and Lisa are passionate and professional and have kept an arts programme going through the pandemic which is no mean feat! The professional musicians who teach on the course care about the music and about improving the students' playing. I would recom...

Since starting Rock Project, roughly around 3 years ago, I have had immense fun, its a great organisation, you get to meet a good bunch of like minded adults. When I started I couldn't play bass, let alone contemplate taking part in a live performance. Now the end if term gig is something I look forward to, it takes you out if your comfort zone, a great way to unwind, also a great builder of self confidence. If you are reading this, it shows you are interested so take the next step and sign u...
