At the time of writing (Sept 2020) the Rickyard cafe is closed and many of the public activities in the Rickyard have been suspended due to Covid19. The loos remain open and it is still a focal point within Walpole Park to meet friends.

Meagre selection of undercooked, stale pastries served by sullen staff who sometimes forget to turn up. They microwave the bacon sandwiches. Coffee ok in my experience though others beg to differ. This used to be a superb café with a huge selection of smoothies etc, but that owner and those days have gone...

Since the cafe was taken over by Pitzhanger. Paid 4 pounds for a couole of mini carton juice. Such a rip off.

Rude/unpleasant staff. There's a jar saying tips for smiles, so sounds like you have to pay extra for polite service.
