I attended The Rhythm and Shoes Dance academy from around the age of 7 until I left for university and it has always been a safe and welcoming space to dance and learn. Hazel and Louise Richmond are fantastic dance teachers as well as caring and supportive of all of their pupils. My daughter has been dancing with Rhythm & Shoes for just over a year now and she absolutely loves her street classes. To anyone pondering starting - Do It!! The girls are great with the girls and will bend over backward for each and ever student. My daughter is doing GCSE pe and Louise is even helping her record her routine to hand in towards her final exam grade which we cannot thank her enough. Xx

Can recommend the Rhythm and Shoes Dance Academy. The teachers are very caring and patient with the children and make the lessons an enjoyable experience. The studios are modern and well looked after. The children enjoyed taking part in the show at the Georgian Theatre, it gave them a chance to show the parents what they have learnt.

To hear that children with additional needs aren't accepted is unacceptable, this has saddened me as I was looking at having my 2 daughters attend as they love dancing. Unfortunately this will not be the case and I will go to another place that will not discriminate against those with disabilities and have full inclusion.

We love dancing with rhythm and shoes. This year my daughter has got her first rosettes and performed in the May Day performance at the castle and Christmas performance. They are a wonderful school and my daughter loves her weekly class.
