The Puppy Adviser

I contacted Julia to help me with my lovely dog, Buddy, who is reactive and anxious around other dogs. I am new to the area, and Julia was just as keen as I was to give Buddy the very best start! We took advantage of the four weekly reactive training sessions, and I am so happy that we did! Julia has been a great resource with our dog Jimmy from behavioural classes, appropriate treats advice from a puppy to adolescence. We have also attended a couple of group workshops which have been excellent. Most recently the scent workshop was a great morning, lots of learning and a very happy tired dog!

We recently embarked on the foundation behaviours and life skills school, a 6 week group session course for puppies. Julia is an excellent teacher, very patient, kind, and clearly extremely knowledgeable and skilled in all aspects of dog training. Julia was brilliant! Bertie, our Labrador needed quite a bit of calming down and training to recall, greet people and other dogs appropriately and walk well on the lead. Julia covered everything in her sessions with a professional and friendly approach. She provided emails and documents after each session and was always completely present and focused on each task. Owning a puppy for the first time can be rather daunting, with so much to learn, and this was made so much easier for us from Julia's clear methods regarding recall and loose lead work. She is excellent in her delivery of vast knowledge, and so clear, and the training is fun! We feel much more confident with our pup after having some training lessons. Highly recommended!
