I can't recommend The Pottery enough. My girlfriend and I went today and had such a fantastic time. The service was fantastic and David was patient, knowledgable and a general joy to have as our teacher. We made our own mugs on the wheel and painted some premade cows, while enjoying lovely drinks I strongly recommend anyone and everyone to visit The Pottery.

It's so true you don't notice things on your doorstep. This place is fabulous. As soon as you walk through the door the magic of the ambiance created here swirls around you. Book yourself an experience on a potters wheel. Much fun. Call in for coffee. The cakes are gorgeous. A little haven you will love.

What a fabulous little place! We went for a pottery party, held after closing hours of the cafe part. The host was lovely, genuinely interested in making sure a bunch of 8 year old girls had a good time painting and throwing a bowl. Would recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our ‘takeaway’ Mother’s Day afternoon tea today with a lovely selection of sandwiches, pastries, scones & cakes. Delicious, thank you!

Cute little tea shop serving an assortment of sandwiches, drinks and daily specials such as vegetarian curry with rice, soup and afternoon tea. Also comprises a pottery workshop at the back with an array of handmade pottery items for sale to the general public. Tables and chairs plus an informal sofa comfortable seating area overlooking a pretty garden which also has an array of garden table and chairs weather permitting. Nicely decorated large clean toilet with baby changing facilities.
