What a great experience. I did the short session which is 2 hours long and covers a range of different pottery techniques - which I won't spoil, but more details are on the website if you want to book. You can take a drink but don't need anything else, an apron and all the tools are provided. Wear something short sleeved or where the sleeves can be rolled up as it can get a little messy. W did painting and model building with our 5 yr and 7 yr old Grandchildren a few months ago. It can be at a level that the kiddies do their own or you help along, you stay to supervise them. There are around 7 or 8 activity tables so it is best to call in advance to ensure there is space to join in. Wow! Brought my 11 year daughter for her second visit today and it was equally as good as the first time! There's pot painting, playing with clay and (her favourite) using a Potters Wheel. Under very gentle (but expert) guidance she has produced two lovely shaped pots with instructions for drying and painting. Well worth a visit
