Having recently taken up running after a lifetime of mainly sedentary work I was really deflated when my knee gave up on me after just a few weeks. I booked a thorough assessment session with Matt - the advice and ongoing support and rehab plan we discussed has given me the confidence that I can get back to completing the Couch to 5k programme. I’ll never be a Paula Ratciffe but with Matt’s help and advice 5k along the Downslink is definitely possible. I definitely recommend Matt and the team

I have been part of Performance Zone small group training sessions for over 4 months. I absolutely love Matt's dedication to all members of his gym, he is very creative with sessions and makes sure everyone feels welcomed and looked after. The gym has brand new equipment, never too crowded and a member of staff is always there to help. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a more personal fitness support.

Great staff and gym setup with new equipment. I love the group PT sessions making training more personal than classes but still affordable. Matt is fab at explaining new exercises and brings energy and fun to the sessions. I've also seen the other Matt in the injury clinic which helped me massively with my back. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loving getting back into strength training at the Performance Zone. It's been a while since I've done that sort of training but the energy and passion Matt puts into each session is exceptional. Each one is different and uses a variety of machines/weights which keeps it really interesting and varied and I always walk away from the 7am session buzzing and set up for the day.

This is a great place! Superb equipment and great group PT classes at great rates. Matt is a great coach, always encouraging and getting the best of you! Im a runner but his sessions have improved my overall fitness and I breezed through a 40 mile ultra thanks to my strength and core work. Plus he has great physios on site to help with injuries and they do great sports massages. Cant recommend it enough!
