Great place to start my 2022 Merseyside tour!!!

Great full that a facility like this is available to use. Even if it is underfunded.

5/5, would run again. Infinitely superior to Wavertree

Loved running on it so much I did too many laps, got dizzy and threw up.

The Oval Track in Bebington is part of the Oval Leisure Centre and is home to Wirral Athletics Club. The eight-lane tartan track is well maintained, as is the football pitch in the middle, and is a fantastic facility to train at. The stand at the track was originally built for the film Chariots of Fire so it is a historic venue as well. At night the track is floodlit so training can continue in the evenings.
