I attended the all year round vegetable growing course and absolutely loved every minute of it. The venue and garden were stunning and so relaxing to be in. Dean and Anna were super good hosts and made us feel welcome and well cared for. The food was fabulous and plentiful and served in such a warm, relaxed environment. Attended the Year Round Vegetable Growing course at the Yorke Arms and would highly recommend it. Very relaxed and welcoming approach, and Dean is a fountain of knowledge, enthusiastic to share and answered questions much broader than the course remit. The setting is beautiful nd the food was delicious and plentiful. Vouchers are a great gift for anyone interested in gardening, and so many courses available - I hope to be back for the Houseplants course in the near future.

I attended a recent course - Creating All Year Colour in your garden. Dean was great, friendly and full of ideas as to how we could all get some colour into our gardens all year round. Would highly recommend - very practical and easy to follow even for a novice gardener like myself!

Amazing day in this gorgeous gardening workshop created by Dean, he was so knowledgeable answering all our doubts and questions. We had a lovely lunch with champagne wich was superb. The event was held in the most amazing place in the Yorkshire Dales, The yorke arms. Thank you for a wonderful day, I will definitely join another event as soon as I can.

I had such a wonderful day at the Northern School of Gardening ‘Vegetable Growing’ workshop. Dean is a likeable, approachable and hugely knowledgeable teacher, and I felt completely comfortable as an absolute beginner. The setting at the Yorke Arms is stunning, the food was delicious, and the company such fun. A relaxed, interesting and useful day, which left me feeling much more confident in my own abilities.
