Learning Retreats at The Northern College of Clinical Hypnotherapy

Our learning retreats provide both current students and graduates with the unique opportunity to revisit, refresh, and enhance their knowledge of essential tools used in the therapy room daily. Additionally, these retreats offer our students a pathway to gain further accreditation for their medical and dental clinical hypnotherapy practice.

Retreat Overview

Each retreat spans eight intensive days, focusing on immersive practice sessions that cover modules from our Foundation course to Module Five of the Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. By the end of the retreat, participants will have acquired 60 hours of extensive experiential learning, equipping them with the confidence to apply hypnotherapy tools effectively in their private practice.

Skill Enhancement: Ideal for all students and graduates aiming to refine their practice skills.

Accreditation: For those pursuing additional accreditation to work in private medical clinics, alongside medical and dental professionals, or within NHS settings, our retreats offer a crucial step. The Tool Kit retreat alone provides 50% of the 120 practice hours required for memberships with CNHC, IHA, BSCH, and BIH and NLP.

Comprehensive Learning: The retreat days include theory review, practical sessions, and focused application of techniques learned in the initial six modules of our Practitioner Diploma course.

Specialised Retreats

Tool Kit Retreat

Duration: Eight days

Focus: Basic to intermediate hypnotherapeutic techniques

Outcome: Participants gain 60 hours of CPD training, covering 50% of the required practice hours for accreditation.

Content: A mix of theory, practical sessions, and immersive practice on foundational tools.

Tranceworks Retreat

Duration: Eight days

Focus: Advanced hypnotherapeutic and hypno-dynamic techniques

Outcome: Extensive experiential learning in advanced techniques and confident delivery of therapeutic interventions.

Content: Advanced tools and techniques from modules 6 to 10 of the Practitioner Diploma course.

Logistics

Participants can choose to stay at our retreat accommodation or attend daily in person. By completing the full Tranceworks Retreat, attendees will have participated in 60 hours of hypnotherapy CPD training.
