Jemma was with me in the hospital while I gave birth to my second daughter. It was a VBAC and a triumph. A natural birth, no drugs and no epidural. Just as I planned for. Only used gas and air. Although my husband was there with me too, Jemma's help was so important to us. She represented my interests in the hospital and just knew when to say something or to keep quiet. Just what I needed. Jemma is wonderful at what she does. She was my doula for my second child after having not such a great experience the first time round. She gave me a voice and helped me to get the birth I wanted. She was there throughout my pregnancy and her support helped me to feel like "I got this!". I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to feel empowered during pregnancy, birth and in the postnatal period.
