The Gower Golf Club

This motel style, cheap accommodation has the potential to be great but is sadly lacking in many areas. Upon checking in, was told that the bar and restaurant was closed and no dinner or breakfast was available. This was not advised prior to check in so meant a 30 min round trip down the single track, potholed lane to go to a local service station to buy a sandwich. The room was a decent size but VERY tired with dirty marks on all the furniture and in the bathroom. I was unable to connect to...

Stayed Saturday night. The bathroom needed cleaning very dated the rooms could do with the hotel inspector going in to help them out. The lady who served use was very helpful.

Stay away. Please look at my photos. We were a party of 4 females booked in for 2 nights from Friday 17th February to 19th for a special 60th birthday. We left within 30 minutes to find another hotel as 1 of the rooms the window would not lock in another. You couldn't close the front main door into the bedroom. Both rooms had no central heating, only a small blow heater was very cold and damp not clean. No restaurant open, no other guest staying there really quiet frightening as in the midd...

We travelled down from Aberaeron specifically to play at the gower golfcourse but we didn't even get halfway round the first 9 holes before asking for our money back. The course etiquette shown by the clubs own members was disgusting. They showed little to no respect to others playing the same hole and nearly striking one of us with their ball. We were verbally abused when we confronted them. We will not be returning and urge others wanting to visit to bare the rude etiquette in mind

It was amazing. Rooms are lovely arranged and cleaned, hot water is plenty and perfect. Bed and linen superior quality. Staff very friendly and helpful. Views are awesome (my room hasn't but I guess the upper ones have it). Very, very quiet. 5/5 100% recomendable.
