I have been coming to the Garden Sewing School for about a year now and I'm completely obsessed. I love being able to walk to the school as its in my local area and the teaching is second to none. The small class size mean that you get individual attention while at the same time learning from the other students. The tea, biscuits and social chat with the other students is the icing on the cake:-) If you want to start a new craft or brush up on your sewing skills I can't recommend this school ...

Wonderful surroundings and a great teacher. After a few 121 lessons I felt more confident about taking on harder sewing projects and copying clothes that I love to wear. I had never created patterns before and I learned a lot about how to adapt patterns to get a better fit.

I love going to this space, it's fun, welcoming and supportive atmosphere makes my sewing journey so much easier. If you like me and worry about getting wrong, Charlotte's teaching style is encouraging, and friendly and makes you feel more confident in your ability. I have learnt so much from her classes. I had the pleasure of attending The Garden Sewing School recently for a workshop where we made a utensil roll. I had limited knowledge of using any sewing machines before, and Charlotte was so encouraging and explained everything simply and clearly making all the new students feel confident in what she was teaching and how we were learning.
