  • What’s happened to the Frontline Club restaurant? I’ve been going there for years and it used to be one of my favourite places to eat near Paddington. I went last night with my friend, one of our usual haunts, and we were presented with menus which were laminated sides of A4, and the food choice had completely changed. It now bears no resemblance to what it was before, which makes this listing completely misleading. Before it was a good value, mid-priced, quality dishes, now it’s over-priced...

  • This is a strange place, its somewhat out of place where its located, at the same time, the food is pretty good. I guess i would say its good Gastropub food - Its good, solid without pretensions and a varied menu. The service is a bit up and down, but they seem to care, but be a little all at sea. Its a strange place, but very welcome in the strange part of London

We ordered several dishes but I’ll only comment on a few here. Halloumi Squash, Seed and Pomegranate Salad £9 - the halloumi looked nice but was very spongy and dry. I really don’t know how you can go wrong with halloumi but they did. Baked Aubergine Concasse, Mozzarella, Basil Pesto £15 - again, it looked nice but one bite of t...
