The French Factor

I've been studying French with Gerard on and off for the past 5 years, most recently at Cafe Rouge in Bath. Gerard is a great teacher with a lovely sense of humour, who provides varied, relaxed lessons with lots of opportunities to speak French. I am a much more confident French speaker now thanks to The French Factor and Gerard.

Gerard at the Cafe Rouge in Bath is an enjoyable experience for communication in French. We have coffee and talk in twos or threes interspersed with discussion and questions with Gerard in an informal and friendly atmosphere. Very much recommended. Rob P

Have been coming to Gerard's classes for a few years - always great fun, informative and varied. Each class is very different and covers many topics - a good way to keep your French from going rusty. And learning more about France.

Gerard is a wonderful patient teacher. He makes the classes enjoyable and is happy to be flexible about subject matter. My french has improved from being a beginner to being able to hold a conversation during the last year. Also, his venues are nice, friendly places with good coffee!
