I had two courses with Yvette at the Edinburgh Pottery Studio and I'd enjoyed it so much. She is an amazing teacher and very talented person! She is very helpful during the classes with everyone, she doesnt hesitate to go around students and show us how we could improve our practice. I love my pottery classes! I can't believe the improvement each session under Yvette's patient and encouraging teaching. Ok, so I'll never be on Pottery Throwdown but pottery, and the classes, are fun and creative and I would encourage anyone to give it a try. It is so satisfying to see what you can accomplish. I have met so many lovely people who, like me enjoy the friendly and relaxed atmosphere Yvette has created. So don't just sit there....get potting!!

What a fun and great learning experience this was. Yvette is a fantastic tutor, so patient, relaxed and supportive and gives you lots of space to try things out yourself and gets to know you. She's clearly very experienced in ceramics, and in teaching. I was amazed at how much we managed to learn and do in 2 hours on the private wheel session we went on. We had the best introduction to pottery! Honestly can't wait to book a course in the new year :). Yvette is a lovely person and a wonderful teacher! We had a private introduction to wheel throwing and we absolutely love our bowls.

We had a fantastic weekend doing the beginner throwing summer workshop. Yvette's teaching was excellent, very welcoming and encouraging. We learned so much and can't recommend this course enough to anyone who wants to learn how to throw pottery!
