I am a current CPD student at the school and can highly recommend Gareth and Greg as exceptional upholsterers and teachers, thoroughly knowledgeable about their craft. Event from the first lesson I have had numerous 'Eureka' moments and have learnt as much in a short time with them than in several years by myself. My course has been interrupted by isolation but the school has continued to engage us with fascinating lectures and every student has been individually considered as to how to cont...

I am now in Year 3 of the AMSFU course at The British School of Upholstery and would recommend this school to anyone looking to learn a new skill. The tutors Greg and Garth are extremely experienced and talented upholsterers and enjoy passing their knowledge on. I have enjoyed every minute of my time at the school.

If you're going to learn upholstery or hone existing skills this is the ONLY place to do it. Greg and Gareth know everything there is to know about the craft, are generous with their knowledge and are patient teachers as a bit of it rubs off on you. Plus they're fun people to spend a day with! The school is small but has everything you need, there's a good cafe up the road and it's in a lovely setting. Highly recommend!
