Visited for an afternoon tea after wedding ring shopping - The food is beautiful but a little more slickness is needed from the waitresses. We were shown to a table by a wonderfully friendly woman who took the time to read our booking notes as it was a special occasion. Our next staff contact was "are you ready to order?" Myself and family/friends spent an evening in the igloo and it could not have been better. The service was top notch and food was fantastic. Such a wonderful way to celebrate with loved ones during the festive season! Our main waiter was Dash, along with Reuben and Darcy, and they were the most wonderful team. Could not recommend enough.

My husband and I spent a night at The Assembly House and enjoyed the festive themed afternoon tea. It was super busy and we did have to wait awhile before being served. The couple next to us arrived after we did and were served before us….overall the tea was nice, savouries were delicious but the sweets, were super sweet and didn’t really have any distinguishing flavours, just sugary. We love a treat afternoon tea and The Assembly House know how to do it. They also have an afternoon cheese alternative which is delightful. We share one of each but unfortunately one of us (me) has to miss out on the mini cheese toastie. Apparently it’s sublime. Too good to share 😞 The setting is stunning and the staff are friendly and accommodating. We will return hungry as ever. The outdoor eating area is sensational in the sun and a wonderland when the igloos make an appearance.

We have just spent 2 nights at the Assembly and I cannot speak highly enough this place. The staff are all amazing , so friendly and always asking if they help. The rooms are beautiful , high quality furniture , beautifully decorated and high on spec. The breakfast and afternoon tea are exceptional and of a very high quality.I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for a great few days, we will return !!
