Tetney Golf Club

A really lovely cafe attached to Golf Club. Went with a group on Wednesday evening for fish and chips. Probably the best batter I have tasted in the Grimsby Cleethorpes area. Really light. Large piece of very fresh excellent quality haddock. Chips had perfect crunch. I noticed the cafe was busy but everyone got served quickly and looked very happy with their meals. Excellent service and good food with a 5 star food hygiene rating

We visited Tetney Golf Club to play a friendly seniors match from Welton Golf Club. We had a very enjoyable day, the course was fine the opposition very welcoming and the food great. Looking forward to are next visit.The only downside was they beat us 31/2 to 21/2.Thanks Tetney.

Went for fish and chips supper on Wednesday night and must say it was a great meal and a great experience. I don't play golf, so I cannot attest to the quality of the course but the new owners could not have done more to make our first evening out in ages a super experience. The restaurant is crisply and smartly decorated and the staff were attentive but not intrusive. The range of beers and wines is good if not spectacular. Well worth a visit for an enjoyable meal.
