I joined this group at the start of Lockdown in April 2020. Lou Requena is a good teacher. I was a total beginner but with clear instructions, demonstrations and a lot of encouragement she has built my confidence. She always checks how we are doing and goes over anything we struggle with. I have found the Tai Chi movements invaluable for managing elements of arthritis plus it lifts my spirits.

I have been taking classes with Lou for a long time following classes in Tai Chi and then moving onto Qigong. I know the classes have benefitted me both physically and mentally but I have also valued the support and friendliness of the classes . Lou demonstrates a deep commitment and is a very inspiring teacher.

Lou is a very knowledgeable, sensitive and caring instructor. Her verbal instructions are excellent, which is important while participating in online zoom sessions. For me Tai Chi is a good remedy for the problems of modern life.

Tai Chi is definitely something to try, its very relaxing, but at the same time requires use of both sides of the brain and balance, things you need to keep working as you get older. Lou is very clear in her instruction, helpful and patient. Classes are fun and for now are done on zoom. So give it a go you have nothing to loose and much to gain.
