Visited whilst doing the 92. One of only a few league 2 games that didnt get called off due to the weather thanks to the clubs efforts. This was proper football. Loved being so close to the pitch and players. I like the novalty of being able to practically choose near enough anywhere in the ground to stand once your in Friendly supporters bar

I took my 7 year old to "one game" last year, before taking him to a "real match" because it was dirt cheap and i didnt want to pay silly Chelsea money just for him to get bored halfway through. Somehow my lad completely fell in love with the team that day and didnt want to go to watch Chelsea at all. We have been to every home game since that day, seen a Wembley cup final, grown very afraid of added time, become season ticket holders and my lads room is now awash with Sutton United memorabi...

Friendly old school stadium with limited facilities. I loved that you could stand and, on a hot day, move around and find some shade. A proper footie ground!
