  • Great for Birdwatching

  • An active sailing club in a beautiful setting. Sail on Saturday, Sunday and Thursday evening.

  • Friendly and welcoming. No pretenses like some sailing clubs.

  • Sutton Bingham is a man made lake between East Coker and Halstock. There is a sailing club which has been there for many years. There are times when I just want to go out and get some fresh air. So I drive down to the lake. Park up and just enjoy the tranquillity. If you go to the car park. There is a path which will take you towards the far end of the lake. If you just need to get away and enjoy the view and the open air worth the drive and walk. .

  • Really beautiful area for walking, sailing and fishing on this beautiful reservoir with so many hinden places to explore. So many different plants and animals to see as Well as fantastic views. Some of the path ways are not easy under foot, so you will need good footwear and maybe sticks if you are to steady on your feet. The reservoir is beautiful and really well kept and not crowded. Very good fishing and if you enjoy sailing this is a must place to visit
