She’s unbelievably patient, kind, warm and made me a far better driver. Helen is absolutely amazing! After a really bad experience prior to coming to SDDA, she was the only one who gave me my confidence behind the wheel again. Very professional, calm, competent, she cares about her students as she wants them to do well. Never forces anyone to do anything they're not comfortable with and never adds any extra pressure on. Always makes sure that you get the whole lesson and she is not cutting you short. All round its just a great experience to be driving with Helen ...

Since I passed my test in 2017 I have recommended Helen to everyone who so much as mentions doing their driving lessons. She is patient, kind and encouraging. I never once felt "told off" if I made a mistake and I always came away from my lessons with a smile. Absolutely top notch driving instructor who creates the most friendly and relaxed atmosphere in her car. Cannot recommend Helen enough!

Helen is the best instructor I could have ever wished for as a beginner learner. She is so patient, kind and makes you feel so at comfortable behind the wheel and I feel so at ease during her lessons as if I’m driving along with someone I’ve known for years. I was really nervous about learning to drive and took quite a while to chose an instructor. Helen was professional from the start and spent time finding out about my work commitments and how she could fit around that before we even booked a lesson. She is a very calm and patient instructor, she made the lessons fun and worked hard to build my confidence without making me feel I was taking too long to get the hang of something. I would highly recommend Helen and Surrey Downs Driving Academy!
