Stu Pots Pottery Studio - Pottery Courses

A very warm and friendly introduction to my first pottery lesson. I went on my own to the class & immediately felt at ease and settled in quickly with 9 other people, all new to pottery. Stuart gave us 2 hours of fun, laughs and included some serious pottery 'throwing'. Surprisingly, in just 2 hours we made 5 various objects, pots, dishes & vases. I'm highly recommending Stu Pots, everyone should have a go!⚱️🏺🧉

Fantastic taster session. Stuart is a great teacher, he kept the class lighthearted while giving us the guidance needed or stepping in to help out or correct where needed. I was impressed with what we were able to achieve in just 2 hours. The course was excellent value for money and can't wait to see how our bowls look when glazed.

Fantastic afternoon, purchased for a gift for my friends 30th. We had the best time, I highly recommend the 2 hour session! Incredible how much you can learn in such a short time. Stu is a fantastic teacher, calm, helpful and makes you feel relaxed to get stuck in! Can’t wait to collect our creations and see the final look. Such a fun afternoon we will definitely be back, Thank you!

We visited as a group of 9 and did a potters wheel taster workshop and we had a fantastic time! We were all novices but with varying skill levels and Stu was able to offer us all just the right amount of guidance. We all even managed to make something which was a great bonus - we can’t wait to see them all glazed and fired! We would absolutely recommend a visit to this lovely family run studio!

Absolutely fantastic afternoon experience at Stu Pots Pottery Studio. In a beautiful location in a professional studio is where the pottery magic happens! Plenty of attempts to create your masterpieces whilst expertly guided by Stu. We were a group of 10 and had so much fun from start to finish. Excellent value and an opportunity to do something different. Thanks Stu - we’ll be back!
