Stitchscape - Patchwork - Teacher - Social Sewing

Stitchscape is a wonderful creative space and Diane is an absolute treasure, she is so enthusiastic and encouraging and is such an understanding, thoughtful teacher.

I booked 3, 2 hour, lessons with Diane to help me create a memory blanket from my husband’s t-shirts. Diane was very sensitive and kind as this was a very emotional project for me. I did not know even where to begin to start this project. By the end of my first lesson I went away knowing how to create all the squares. By the end of the second I knew how to join them. Had a wonderful 2 hours Longarm Experience with Diane. My first go on a Longarm, Diane was a great patient teacher, with loads of knowledge and showed me lots of new things that I could carry over onto my domestic sewing machine. It was a treat to myself and I would definitely recommend it. 😊

Great 2 day workshop with 4 of my sewing friends. Diane is an excellent tutor explaining everything very patiently. Lovely light airy studio and high standard of materials for our projects. Would definitely recommend for small groups and hopefully we’ll be back. Thank you Diane.
