Booked via online for a telephone consultation - managed to get 4pm same day. GP rang me about 20 minutes after booking. Discussed concerns. Blood test form available from reception same day. Helpful receptionist and efficient GP with good telephone manner. Excellent service. Really impressed.

I did have to wait 48 mins for my call to be answered, however I was calling first thing on Monday morning when I expected the surgery to be busy. Once I got through the Receptionist was absolutely lovely. I was offered either face to face or telephone appointment and it was my choice. I opted for a telephone appointment and advised that this would be at 11 or thereabouts. I received a call from the Doctor at approximately 11.10. I used the e consult service for the first time. I was a bit dubious as to whether it would be any good. Well I am impressed. I had a response within a few hours and a prescription was sent to the chemist. Too many people are quick to complain I just wanted to say thank you.

I have been very critical of the surgery in years gone by although the new generation (new hires) of GPs are terrific. I had an appointment with Dr Staniforth today who was excellent; listened very well, offered detailed explanations and explained treatment pathways. Very professional and seemed to actually care. I have found the reception team to be friendly and helpful, they are doing the best they can with the volume of patients. Thank you!

Today I rang at 8.00am only to wait just over 30 minutes to hear there were no more appointments. I was told to ring back tomorrow or go to A&E. I have been a patient at this surgery since 1998 I have to say it has always been this bad. At least today the receptionist was not rude.
