  • My daughter is learning loads at StandStrong. She is always keen to tell us what she has done in the lesson. It's great to see her positive attitude to fitness. There is never a grumble about going to class. Thank you Sam, James, and Hannah for being so friendly and also challenging my daughter to develop.

  • I’ve been training with stand strong for roughly 5 months now and can not recommend it more to anyone looking to better themselves physically mentally and improve there self defence and martial arts. The coaches are very friendly and go above and beyond for the club. Wether your starting out your martial arts/self defence journey or have year’s experience would definitely recommend coming to stand strong.

  • I started doing private and group classes with StandStrong in preparation to go travelling. They were very realistic with what I would be able to learn in the time that I had and honestly I’ve loved every second of it. The coaches are skilled, supportive and attentive and the community in the classes feels really special. I’ve left every session feeling like I know more than I did before, tired, and with a smile on my face. Thank you so much Sam and Hannah! :)

  • Friendly, knowledgeable instructors. Well equipped and tidy venue. Lots of gear to borrow if you don't have your own yet. Welcoming atmosphere and considerate to different ability levels. I've always had fun and felt safe when I'm there

  • I absolutely love the training with StandStrong Academy. Hannah and Sam are really great! Initially I was a bit worried about joining because I had never tried kickboxing before and I was afraid it would be too much for me. But these classes were beginner friendly which is what I loved about it.
