Great club for both young and old. Very friendly. Cafeteria is excellent and so is the bar - both very reasonably priced. Social activities available including quizzes, bingo, live performances, discos and games evenings. Plenty of car parking and bowling is very cheap for a two hour session. Lots of leagues and casual roll-up sessions. Something for everyone ...

I have been playing bowls at Stamford & District Bowls Club for 13 years. I have made many friends and always enjoy playing in the leagues as well as the roll-ups. The facilities are excellent and the people are always friendly and helpful. There is free coaching too to get you started.

Great facilities, well run, nice friendly club. I started bowls in September 2022 by visiting one of their open days. They offer group coaching on Saturday mornings which was so helpful to start learning and as they can lend equipment to start with you're able to try different bowls to make sure you choose the right ones for you before purchasing a set.
