Absolutely love Stage Lodge Stables! Instructors I’ve had have been excellent, and horses well turned out. Highly recommend! The instructors cater for all abilities, which is great! Have been using Stag Lodge Stables (Stag 1) in conjunction with Stag lodge 2 to experience both Hacks over Richmond park, and improve riding ability. A big thank you to all the staff, who have been so amazing with both me and my other half. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

Great place for lessons, can’t think of a better venue in which to learn, other than traipsing through Richmond Park. Teachers are patient and caring, giving the kids time to get to grips with the horses. Very relaxed and friendly. Doesn’t feel like they are doing things by the minute. They really are there to help the kids get the most out of it.

It’s such a privilege to be able to ride in beautiful Richmond park. Stag Lodge Stables is great, there is always a warm welcome from the staff and the horses are beyond wonderful, I have been more than lucky to ride out with some of their incredible instructors. Martha is just phenomenal, an effortlessly balanced rider with a great love and understanding for each of the horses, always positive, professional and takes great care of everyone who rides out with her. Martha’s a star – it’s a joy hacking in Richmond Park with her! I’ve been riding with Martha since just before lockdown and learnt so much from her – about riding, and about horses and caring for them. She’s given me confidence to ride different horses, when my all time, fav Luna, retired, and has def extended my skills. I’ve been riding at Stag Lodge for nearly 10 years, taken the BHS 1 assessment in riding, yard work and safety, and for me, few other current instructors rival her profession...

Love riding at Stag Lodge even in the winter rain! Richmond Park is such a lovely place to ride with well-maintained bridle tracks. The staff are friendly and professional - and a special mention for Robyn - fun, always positive, and a great instructor. Some good riding & stable friends too - not least - some super horses - what better way to spend some time!
