If you found the perfect river mooring would you tell anyone? Well would you? I know a place at a bend in the river so beautiful you could believe you were back in the garden of Eden. How beautiful to be the first man and the first woman. Where the sun rises on a day full of promise and peace. And the sun sets on a day well done. Imagine your perfect day. Now, remember. Careful who you tell.

Absolutely beautiful mooring, surrounded by nature. As we are inexperienced boaters , the owner helped and assisted us with tying the ropes, gave us helpful advises for the rest of the holiday and was extremely friendly.

Beautiful wild mooring by open fields. Couldn’t get more perfect for a night away from the hustle and bustle. Very helpful bailiff who leant us some tools to rescue a drowned iPhone from its soggy case and gave advice and direction to the local pub. An idyllic must-stop on a Thames cruise.

Fairs fair, a mooring charge is made,but, I defy anyone to read this notices details, even those that posted it on the tree. I walked up to it, as close as I could and struggled to read what was on it, instructions state to phone when you land, if you can read the instruction. For some reason sign writers love colour. You can just about see the £10 clearly, but for when, and how. Everywhere else, someone comes around to collect, but not here. The collector did come round, as it happened but h...
