Come and learn the art of weaving a dreamcatcher.
Have you always been intrigued by dreamcatchers and want to learn the art of weaving your own, or do you know someone who loves them and want to gift them one?
Originally, the native Americans made dreamcatchers as a protective charm to hang over the cots of babies and catch all the evil spirits that came their way, like a spider’s web. The sacred hoops were hung to soothe the sleepers beneath, letting good dreams through (passed down through the feathers) and holding back bad dreams, which would be burned up by the morning sun the next day.
This workshop will teach you the basics of weaving and decorating dreamcatchers and give you some time to reflect on the coming year/connect with other dreamcatcher lovers or give you that needed self-care time, with the aim of creating gorgeous pieces with respect for their initial intentions in mind.
What's included in the price?
You’ll be given a hoop, a large choice of yarns, beads and feathers with which to complete the dreamcatcher and hands-on support and guidance to help you master the basics of the weaving technique.
Ongoing support, if required through Spiritual Vitality

How to weave a dreamcatcher
Two ways to weave a dreamcatcher
I just love working with all sorts of crafts. Designing bespoke pieces for the home and I try to upcycle as much as possible to be kinder to our planet and produce beautiful handcrafted pieces.
I have been weaving Dreamcatchers for over 18yrs now and I have been teaching others how to make them for around 5yrs now.
I love walking in nature and seeing rocks, shells, and sticks and how they could be incorporated into a design. To be given new life.
