Southampton Old Bowling Green

The Old Green bowling green looks in good nick and has a cosy feel about the place and great social facilities which unfortunately we lack at the Sport Centre although we have good greens thanks to grounds men who work hard

No idea what the bowling green is like, don’t think I’m old enough to get in, but down one side of this place, behind the old town walls, there is a humungous mound of dried human feces. How it got there and when if ever it will go is anyone’s guess. Quite thrilling.
