Very friendly club, good racing and people always ready to lend a hand with advice or practical help. Very COVID conscious too, I feel very safe sailing there.

South Shields Sailing Club is a fantastic, friendly and welcoming club open to complete novices and experienced sailors. It has excellent facilities and direct access to the public slipway making it straightforward to launching most conditions. The club sails all year round (except January) and even has a spacial boxing day race! Best sailing club in the North East! 😀

Great club. I used to sail here with Newcastle university, the guys that run it were always friendly and approachable. The facilities in club were good.
